Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled IT Operations Engineer to manage and support our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge in Linux and Windows server administration, networking, and hardware maintenance. You will be responsible for ensuring system uptime, managing network performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing best practices across our IT environment.

This role is best suited for individuals who have completed relevant industry certifications and are eager to work in a fast-paced, operations-focused environment.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Maintaining Operator IT 

  • Attend and resolve Production Hardware [HP/Dell/Lenovo/IBM] & network-related complaints 

  • Attend and resolve Production Operating Systems [Linux & MS Windows] & Software-related complaints 

  • Server resource upgradations – RAM, HDD 

  • Web publishing hosting in the IIS Web Server 

  • Health monitoring of Production Server hardware-Alert monitoring 

  • Maintain Production Asset data 

  • License Management of Software & Operating Systems 

  • Ensure Production server backups 

  • User management and access permissions, password management 

  • Submit URL whitelisting requests to the Operator IT Team 

  • Submit Firewall Openings requests to the Operator IT Team 

  • Create VPN User IDs with the Operator support team for Operation & Maintenance access 

  • Apply security patches in Servers and ensure closure of Audit reports by the Operator Security team 

  • OS Hardening and ensure closure of Audit reports 

  • Integrations with Security platforms like SIEM, ISPIM, FireEye, etc 

  • Do pre-activity & post-activity sanity checks for Telco planned activities and ensure working 

  • Provide support for Operator end Platform changes (e.g, Proxy migration, SMTP Gateway migration) 

  • Wireshark network-level troubleshooting support 

  • IPSec VPN Tunnel supports

  • Maintenance of Telecom Infrastructure of the Operator

  • Support Customer Desk to resolve Customers' call connectivity complaints, pcap/wireshark trace & analysis 

  • Attend and resolve E1/SIP Media, Channel state-related complaints 

  • Voice channel upgradations based on requirements 

  • Voice E1 re-arrangements based on requirements 

  • Call routing requests to Operator Switch 

  • Health monitoring of Production Server Voice circuits

Specific Requirements 

Good communication skills in English or Hindi

Willing to work in rotational shifts
